    • George O'Brien Wyndham 3rd Earl of Egremont was Colonel Sussex Yeo 1794.
      Owned 110000 acres in W of England Cumberland Yorkshire Ireland and W Sussex.
      He was educated Westminster Eton and Ch Ch Oxford.
      He was also known as 5th Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].3 He gained the title of 3rd Earl of Egremont.
      He was a leader in ag improvement (memb Board Ag ) in 1793.
      He was V-Pres Br Instn Fellow Royal Society (F.R.S.) Fellow Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) 1800 in 1797.
      In 1819 Ld-Lt and custos rotulorum Sussex V-Adml Sussex 1820–31.
      In 1834 PM and 1835–41.
      He was Melbourne's mother was certainly at one time his mistress. By Eliza Fox alias Crole (subsequently mistress of GEORGE PRINCE OF WALES later GEORGE IV and mother by him of a son Major George Seymour Crole 28th Regt d aged 64) the 3rd Earl al on 13 June 1863.
