Ruined by the expenses of the latter election, he emigrated to Australia; in New South Wales, in 1835. Married, Oct. 26, 1820, Anne, 2nd dau. of Sir Jacob Henry Astley, 5th Bart., of Melton Constable, Norfolk. Author, The State of the Nation at the close of 1830, and in 1832.
