    • Frederick Gough 4th Baron Calthorpe was baptised with the name of Frederick Gough-Calthorpe.
      He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hindon between 1818 and 1826.
      He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bramber between 1826 and 1831.
      On 14 May 1845 his name was legally changed to Frederick Gough by Royal Licence.
      He held the office of High Sheriff of Staffordshire in 1848.
      He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Calthorpe of Edgbaston co. Warwick [G.B. 1796] in September 1851.
